Thailand’s SCG Group Expands Low Carbon Cement Production in Vietnam
Thailand’s SCG Group is setting the stage for a greener future by further expanding its production of SCG Low Carbon Cement in Vietnam’s southern market. This initiative not only aligns with the global shift towards sustainable construction practices but also bolsters SCG’s competitive edge in international markets, as noted by Supakit Phucharoensilp, director of SCG Vietnam Cement Plant Division.
Promoting Sustainability
With an increasing awareness of climate change, the demand for green building materials is surging. Low Carbon Cement has emerged as a frontrunner in this category, reducing CO2 emissions by up to 20% compared to traditional cement. This eco-friendly alternative offers benefits like enhanced durability, superior bearing capacity, and a visually appealing finish, making it a top choice for projects adhering to international standards.
