Deep C Industrial Zones in Quang Ninh province has secured three new investment projects with combined registered capital of about VND6.38 trillion ($242 million), reinforcing its position as an attractive destination for manufacturing and logistics.

Deep C Industrial Zones is a Belgian developer and operator of an industrial zone and port infrastructure cluster in Haiphong city and Quang Ninh province—the most dynamic growing region in northern Vietnam. This strategic focus highlights the growing international interest in Vietnam’s industrial capabilities.

During the 2025 investment promotion conference held on Monday, Quang Ninh authorities granted in-principle approvals for the new projects, signaling a strong commitment to fostering economic development in the region.

The first project involves the development of Chanh River Port No. 3, with a significant investment of VND3.94 trillion ($149.3 million). This port upgrade will accommodate vessels of up to 50,000 tons, enhancing logistical capabilities and facilitating increased trade volume in the region.

The second project, spearheaded by Hong Kong-based Eva Limited, entails the establishment of a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility for metal and plastic products. Occupying a sprawling area of 60,000 square meters within Deep C Quang Ninh 2, this initiative carries an investment of more than VND1.36 trillion ($51.49 million) and aims to produce approximately 273.5 million units annually, equating to about 49,180 tons.

Additionally, IKD Holding 12 PTE. LTD, a Core5 Vietnam entity, will invest over VND999 billion ($37.88 million) to develop ready-built factories and warehouses for lease. This project will feature six ready-built facilities alongside essential supporting infrastructure, covering a construction area of about 65,867 square meters.

All three projects are strategically aligned with Quang Ninh’s vision of establishing an innovation-driven ecosystem. The region aims to attract industry-leading enterprises in sectors such as digital technology, high-tech manufacturing, supporting industries, circular economy practices, and smart aquaculture.
