Vietnam’s 2025 Golden Autumn Fair Aims to Boost Spending and Draw in Investments

Celebrating Vietnamese Creativity: The Golden Autumn Fair 2025

On October 25, Hanoi witnessed the grand inauguration of the first-ever Golden Autumn Fair 2025, a significant milestone for the nation’s economy and culture. Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh inaugurated the event, highlighting its importance as a celebration of Vietnamese innovation and creativity. The fair is set to run from October 25 to November 4 at the Vietnam National Exhibition Centre, a striking modern venue designed to symbolize the vibrant capital.

    A Theme with Purpose

The fair carries the theme “Connecting People with Production and Business,” encapsulating its mission to foster connections between consumers and producers. PM Chinh emphasized the event’s dual role: a national celebration and a step onto the international stage. By honoring outstanding Vietnamese brands, the fair aims to stimulate domestic consumption and promote the philosophy of “Vietnamese people prioritizing Vietnamese goods.”

    Economic Growth on the Horizon

With ambitions for a robust economic future, the Golden Autumn Fair 2025 is poised to contribute significantly to Vietnam’s GDP growth, which targets over eight percent this year and even higher for the years that follow. The PM’s remarks mirrored a strategic vision for the country, where cultural and economic initiatives are interwoven to drive sustainable development.

    An Unprecedented Scale

Spanning over 130,000 square meters, the fair is the largest of its kind in Vietnam. It showcases five thematic zones, featuring approximately 3,000 booths that highlight a diverse array of products. The participation of representatives from 34 provinces and cities, along with more than 2,500 local and international organizations, adds to the event’s grandeur. Visitors can delve into a rich tapestry of product exhibitions, culinary delights, and artistic performances, creating a vibrant representation of Vietnamese identity.

    Achieving “Six Bests”

Despite being organized in a relatively short timeframe, the Golden Autumn Fair has achieved what PM Chinh termed the “six bests”: the largest scale, most modern setup, most diverse product offerings, highest quality displays, most engaging activities, and best incentive policies. This impressive feat reflects Vietnam’s ambitions and creative spirit, aligning with a forward-thinking mindset of continuous progress.

A Platform for Connection and Innovation

The fair isn’t merely about showcasing products; it serves as a pivotal platform for trade promotion, investment, and tourism. By bridging domestic and international partnerships, it aims to foster new opportunities for cooperation and technology exchanges. The initiative also supports enterprises in navigating digital transformations and transitioning toward greener, circular economies—crucial elements for achieving Vietnam’s long-term strategic vision of peace, prosperity, and sustainability.

    Responding to Current Challenges

In a heartfelt address, PM Chinh expressed empathy for the residents affected by the ongoing natural disasters in northern and central provinces. He called on the business community and public to extend their support to relief efforts, embodying the spirit of unity that is a hallmark of Vietnamese culture—”the healthy leaves protect the torn ones.”

    Looking Ahead at Trade Fairs

The Prime Minister urged the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT) to ensure the success of the Golden Autumn Fair and to prepare for future seasonal fairs: Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter. This forward-looking perspective reflects Vietnam’s commitment to becoming a hub for trade fairs and exhibitions in Asia.

    Elevating Vietnamese Brands

Encouragement was also given to promote local specialties under the One Commune, One Product (OCOP) initiative. By strengthening investment and tourism linkages, the Government aims to elevate Vietnamese brands on the global stage.

A Hub of Creativity and Pride

In the spirit of connectivity, PM Chinh envisioned the Golden Autumn Fair 2025 as more than just an exhibition. It’s a space where creativity flourishes, intelligence shines, and national pride radiates.
