On September 22, 2025, Yusen Logistics (Vietnam) Co., Ltd. marked a significant milestone in its expansion efforts by breaking ground on its newest strategic investment: a state-of-the-art, eco-friendly Logistics Center in Northern Vietnam. This project, representing the company’s seventh logistics center since 2008, aims to enhance service capabilities and simultaneously drive sustainable regional development.
Key Features and Strategic Location
The facility, aptly named the Yusen Hung Yen Logistics Center, is situated at Land Lot CN8, Yen My Industrial Park, in Hung Yen Province. Spanning a substantial 40,000 square meters, it will boast an impressive 18,634 square meter international-standard warehouse. Its prime location ensures excellent connectivity to prominent industrial zones, including Thang Long Industrial Park Phase 2 and VSIP Bac Ninh, along with the upcoming Gia Binh International Airport, making it a crucial logistics gateway for the entire region.
Operations are set to commence in July 2026, following the completion of construction in June 2026. Once operational, the center will become Yusen Logistics’ primary hub for Northern Vietnam, offering a comprehensive suite of features including:
- A high selective racking system capable of optimizing storage space.
- A total of 34 container docks equipped with 12 dock levelers, facilitating efficient loading and unloading processes.
- A durable heavy-duty floor with a load capacity of 5,000 kg per square meter, enabling the handling of even the heaviest goods.
- Advanced warehouse management systems designed to enhance operational efficiency while adhering to high-security standards.
- Value-added services that encompass co-packing, labeling, and consolidation for nationwide distribution, meeting diverse client requirements.

Built to comply with LEED environmental standards, the facility will incorporate energy-efficient materials, LED lighting, and climate-controlled storage solutions.
