    After its successful debut in 2023, the Vietnam ESG Investor Conference returned in 2024 under the inspiring theme of “Building a Resilient Future for Vietnam.” Presented by Raise Partners and Vietnam Innovators by Vietcetera, this conference acted as a beacon for leaders, investors, experts, and think tanks from both public and private sectors, including representatives from various governmental agencies.

    This year’s event expanded its focus, promising attendees a multifaceted exploration of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) topics. Discussions delved into critical areas such as the finance sector’s role in the climate transition, financial inclusion for lower-skilled workers, a case study on organic shrimp farming and the conservation of mangrove forests in the Mekong Delta, and inclusive workforce development. Each topic aimed to foster deeper insights and innovative solutions that could pave the way for a sustainable future.

    Another important figure, Phạm Hoàng Hải, is the Partnership Development Head at the Vietnam Business Council for Sustainable Development. With over three decades of experience, he has played a crucial role in guiding enterprises toward sustainable practices.

    Perspectives from the Private Sector

    The private sector also makes a significant impact on ESG outcomes. One standout figure is Bruno Jaspaert, CEO of DEEP C Industrial Zones, leading the development of eco-industrial parks.
