In a momentous event at the Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre in Singapore, ATAD Steel Structure Corporation was awarded the prestigious Vietnam Excellence Award – Steel at the Manufacturing Asia Awards 2025. This accolade underscores the company’s leadership in providing comprehensive Design & Build solutions for steel structure projects, not only in Vietnam but also in various international markets.

During the award ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Le Anh Tuan, CEO of ATAD, emphasized that “this award reflects ATAD’s credibility and technical capability in the global market.” He noted that the recognition is a testament to over 20 years of continuous innovation, development of human resources, and a steadfast commitment to sustainable growth. Moving forward, ATAD plans to continue investing in advanced technologies while embracing modern, eco-friendly manufacturing techniques, solidifying its position as a pioneer in the steel structure industry within Asia and globally.

With an impressive annual capacity of 216,000 tons of steel structures, ATAD offers a broad range of services that span design, fabrication, logistics, installation, and maintenance. The company boasts an international presence with 13 offices globally and has proudly completed projects in more than 60 countries. Their clients include industry giants such as Samsung, Heineken, Hyundai, Toyota, P&G, Sanofi, VinFast, and Hoa Phat.

ATAD’s commitment to safety and sustainability is evident through its early adoption of a Zero Accident safety policy and adherence to LEED standards aimed at minimizing carbon emissions. Their long-term CSR initiatives focus on education, healthcare, and community development. These efforts align with a broader Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) framework that aims to enhance operational efficiency, mitigate risks, and contribute to sustainable growth. Beyond just executing steel structure projects, ATAD plays an integral role in elevating Vietnamese engineering capabilities in significant international projects.

To uphold high standards of quality, safety, and sustainability, ATAD has implemented a Smart Factory model integrated with digital platforms such as 3D Building Information Modeling (BIM), Tekla Structures, and Lean Manufacturing techniques. These cutting-edge technologies optimize design accuracy, project scheduling, and overall production efficiency. The company takes additional measures to manage energy consumption and reduce environmental impact through responsible manufacturing practices throughout the fabrication and installation processes.

A significant highlight of ATAD’s achievements is owning Vietnam’s first LEED Gold–certified steel structure factory. The company proudly holds a range of international certifications, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, IAS AC472, CE Marking, AISC, ASME, CWB, and UKCA, enabling compliance with export standards for high-demand markets such as the United States, the European Union, the United Kingdom, Australia, and Japan.

ATAD’s innovative production model combines automation and robotic welding systems with digital management platforms covering all stages of work, from design to installation. The integration of SAP ERP and real-time monitoring systems has standardized processes, leading to improved operational efficiency and robust quality control. These initiatives have significantly enhanced their execution abilities, decreased production lead times, and minimized errors, making them well-equipped to handle large-scale and complex projects.

ATAD’s engineering prowess is particularly evident through its notable contributions to the Long Thanh International Airport project, where the company successfully fabricated and installed over 45,000 tons of steel structures and executed an impressive 5,300-ton roof-lifting operation—marking a significant accomplishment in the domain of complex steel structure construction. Their participation extends to other major projects, including the Ho Chi Minh City Metro Line 1, MRT-7 Metro Line in the Philippines, Jackson Generation Power Plant in the United States, Kampala Flyover Project in Uganda, Matarbari Power Plant in Bangladesh, H2 Green Steel Plant in Sweden, as well as several airport developments like Tan Son Nhat Terminal T3, Cam Ranh International Airport, Da Nang International Airport, and Wattay International Airport in Laos.

The Manufacturing Asia Awards is a distinguished platform that honors enterprises demonstrating excellence in innovation, operational performance, and sustainable industrial development throughout the region. ATAD’s recognition at this event reinforces its standing as a Vietnamese enterprise that not only competes on a global scale but also significantly contributes to the progress of the steel structure industry, both in Asia and beyond.
